Book preview
When I first uploaded my book i could preview it and others online by clicking on the preview button. Now all I get is a blank web page when I try to view my bood and other books that have the preview optioni. My girlfriend couldn’t view from her computer either. Is blurb having an issue or is there something on my end with my computer.

I just checked your book preview and it looked gorgeous! Very nice work.
Please let us know if you are still have in an issue with seeing the preview by by filling out a Customer Support Form. Once this is filled out someone from Blurb will be in contact with you in one business day.

If I "build" a book on here for one of my clients, is there a way I can send them a proof of it, or is there somewhere they can go to proof it BEFORE it it ordered?

okay, I think I answered my own question. If you don’t have a new enough version of Adobe the files won’t open. I had installed something and in the process lost my newer version of Adobe and the older version wouldn’t work.

hey same as MMANUS, just published first book and to my surprise there are people who actually want to buy it:) Would like to see a functionality where we can show FULL book preview in PDF, secured of coure either by sending a different url to selected audience or password protected Can we generate a pdf of the full book offline. Tried but did not seem to work. Would like to have the full book preview on my pc many thanks in advance Veerle

Hi finiky – I just looked up your book, and everything looks right. The PDF preview is still being generated. We’ve had very few problems with Book Previews being generated, but if the preview file isn’t available by tomorrow (Tuesday), please contact Technical Support. Thanks, Jack

I have a similar question. I would like people to be able to see a few pages of my book. What do I do to make that happen? Denise

Denise, Go to "My Books", click on the appropriate book. This brings up the "Edit Book Details" window. Under "Privacy Settings" you’ll see "Book Preview (PDF). Click on "on". If the book is private only people you give the URL to will be able to preview. If you want anyone to be able to see it, you’ll have to make it public.

Thanks for responding so quickly. Unfortunately, I’ve already done that and it still isn’t letting people look at some of the pages in my book. Is there anything else to try? D

It appears this feature is having trouble this weekend. Try it again tomorrow as I am sure Blurb will have it taken care of.

Updated: We were experiencing some difficulties with our server generating book previews for the last few days. The issue has been resolved, and Book Previews should again be available.

I am having the same issue with a book I uploaded on monday evening. (Yesterday). I hope the preview comes on today… I really need it!

I see that some of the just published books have a working preview. How is this being achieved?

Hi TomM – You’re not doing anything wrong – looks like the problem persists, unfortunately. We’re working on it right now. You should be able to turn preview on shortly. I’ll post back to this thread once this is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience. Jack

Thanks, Tom. We believe the problem has now been fixed for everyone. However, if anyone else has a problem generating a Book Preview, we’d like to know about it. The easiest way for us to monitor this is by sending a "ticket" to technical support if you experience this problem. Thanks! Jack
