Problem with staying signed inAnybody else experienced problems with staying signed in on Blurb? I’ve crossed the ‘remember me’ when I signed in the first time and saved the link to my favorites.| Wondered if anybody else experienced something like that.

Every long response I’ve done. I’ve taken to copying my reply to the clipboard, then, when I have to go through all the re-login garbage, I just paste it back in. I’ve complained about it here http://forums.blurb.com/forums/3/topics/7681 But there was no response from anybody. Mike |

Well, glad I’m not alone in this, but very annoying that Blurb won’t do anything about it. I got a very non helpful general answer to my question. What’s the point of having Forums if one can’t hop from one to the other in order to help people, without having to log in all the time. I gather you copy your text with Ctrl+C? because there’s no ‘copy’ in the right click menu. What’s very annoying too is that we can’t go back to the overview of the forums when having answered to a question, but have to use the back button or go all the way through the Help/forums again. Not users friendly at all. That’s a BIG, BIG minus for Blurb, along with the BIG minus for not paying us our proceeds through Paypal. |

Hi, Thanks for the info. I had no idea people were experiencing log out problems at this point. I will look into that. Really sorry for the hassle Also, did you now that you can jump back to the overview page without having to click back. Just click on Forums Home from the sidebar that runs down the right side of the page. – Kathy |

Ok Kathy, thank you for your comment here. I returned the email I got from Blurb, explaining the above and got an email back from Geary, suggesting to clear out my internet cache (well I didn’t delete all the cookies, just those from Blurb), put blurb.com in the address bar, sign in and go to the forums to see if it helped. We’ll see what happens when I click the post button. |

Well, it worked this time. Now I’m going over to another forum and see how long I will stay logged in. |

Ok, I’ve been logged in now for about 23 minutes, replied to several items in the forums and didn’t get thrown out, so it must have worked with deleting the cookies. Now I’m curious, when I save the site in my favorites, if it stays this way next time I enter Blurb. |

My web team is saying that this problem is a bit difficult to recreate on our end. There could be a number of factors as to why this is happening including the particular browser you’re using, a corrupted cookies, etc. Titia above has had success with our current workaround which is to clear your cache and cookies. – Kathy |
