Rough start but excellent customer service
I had lots of problems with the program and some really random errors trying to get the book printed and throughout it all, the Blurb customer support people were really supportive and helpful. I didn’t get the standard cut-and-paste "so sorry but we’re not really going to address your problem" psuedo-apology that you get from most companies. Real people actually wrote me back with real advice and help. It’s pretty sad that this is a rare occurance. And finally I did get the book that I wanted to make and the printing/shipping went much faster than I had hoped! Thanks Blurb and I’ll keep you in mind for the future.

I received two books (out of four that order) that were printed with a pink overcast and later there was a shipping problem with the books. It was frustrating but I found Blurb’s customer support was quick to work on the problems and eventually solve everything to my satisfaction.I think Blub might have gotten a little overwhelmed during the recent holiday rush. Kudos to its customer service and soon I hope all other problems get smoothed out.

Their customer service is great. Its the shipping options and prices that are the HUGE weakness.

I have had little luck getting in contact with anyone at Blurb who can help me. I had my first book printed and was very disappointed. There was a pink hue in my photos and on the “empty space” around my photos…many lines through photos…it just didn’t look good. I tried calling…no one picked up. I shipped the book back with notes on all the pages (on post it’s of course) and my contact information. It’s been over 2 months and no response. No reprint…no credit…no email…no call….nothing. I have friends who are very happy with Blurb….I am just hoping it’s a one time thing for me.
Please help!
