Membership requirement to order a book

I have had many potential buyers of my book tell me they do not want to “register’ with your site.

I think you should give people an alternative.  You can still ask them for shipping information in the course of their ordering a book without calling it “register.”

Many other sites give the opportunity to people to “register” of to simply give ordering information.

Asking to register, simply to order a book, makes people think you will hound them with unwanted e-mails and offers and really turns them (and me) off.
