Known Shipping Issue SOLVED: Problem with UPS shipping charges to Europe and Asia
Some of you have noticed that over the September 1st weekend, Blurb’s shipping prices to Europe and Asia increased dramatically. This was due to a technical problem with UPS that caused shipping rates to appear incorrectly. UPS is aware of the problem and promised us that they are addressing this issue.
Until this issue is resolved, shipping charges have been reduced for European and Asian orders using the UPS Standard option.
We will be contacting those with orders affected by this issue on an individual basis.
Many thanks to the folks who alerted us to this problem. We apologize for this inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience while we sort this out with UPS.
As of Friday, September 7, this issue has been escalated to UPS headquarters in Germany.
As of Monday, September 10, this issue has been solved by UPS. Shipping prices throughout Blurb are again accurate. We will be contacting those with orders affected by this issue on an individual basis.

I don’t think it has been sorted. If I put a copy of my book into the basket and check out, the shipping charges range from £35.00 to £185.00 whereas back in june it was £8.50 I want to make and order another book, but not at the high charges. Steve
