Processing fees for both Blurb and PaypalHi, I searched the forums to find out an answer to my question but couldn’t see where anyone had mentioned this The small Paypal fee charged by Blurb sounds like the best deal for getting paid for book commissions at the offset, but there is another fee added on at the Paypal end as well. which is 2.9% of your commission + .30 per transaction fee taken off the book sellers profit. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-receiving-fees-outside&countries= The Paypal percentage could add up depending on how much profit one is getting per month from book sales. The 5.00 check processing fee could actually be a better deal for some…a loss for others making hundreds/thousands in profits. It’s worth crunching the numbers anyway

Hi, We’re not sure where you came up with this information, but the $1.00 processing fee (or equivalent in other currencies) we charge is the only fee you will receive, either from us or from Paypal, for any payments we process through Paypal. If Paypal is charging you something different, please contact us through Customer Support, so we can investigate this matter. Thanks, Jay |
