won't find blogger
I had the same problem.
I got around it by logging in using my email address, rather than my username. It seemed to like that much better, and I was then able to slurp my blog.
PLEASE make BookSmart 1.9 available for downloading
Blurb – is there any way you can give us a link to the old version please? I too am unable to open my existing book, and it (along with the five others I have already published) was exported correctly. I have always been able to open and access previous books when I’ve upgraded BookSmart in the past, but alas, not this time.
Please please give us a link to download the old version! I have too many hours of work and vital information at stake, and I know there are others like me out there!
2.0 - Unable to open my book in this new version!
Error message is: This file does not appear to be exported from BookSmart.
I’ve made five books already, and I always back them up and export them out of BS properly. This last one is nearly done – I should have finished it before upgrading to V 2.0, but I was seduced by the promise of a 12×12 format!
I’ve emailed technical support, but just wondered if anyone has had the same issue, and if so, could offer any suggestions of things to try, as it’s obviously the weekend and I don’t expect to hear back from tech support for about three days.
Many thanks in advance

Ordering and Shipping
I’m having a similar problem uploading my book. I keep getting an error that says "an internet connection cannot be established at this time. Please ensure your network connection is active and try again".
We are on broadband and I have no problems with my internet connection. I have tried disabling the firewall, but that doesn’t help either. I have checked the book title, and have ensured there are no spaces or strange characters in it. I have deleted all the pics I didn’t use, and still I can’t upload it.
Any suggestions? Many thanks.
My 1st personal book received
I too received my first book today. It took 13 days to get to me – but I guess that’s what you expect when you live in New Zealand! I was rapt.
I am impressed with the overall quality including binding and printing. I am no whiz in photoshop, and in fact I don’t even have photoshop. I just used the software that came with my printer and my pics look about the same as I would expect :o)
I would encourage everyone to give this a go! It’s hugely rewarding and you don’t need to be a fabulous photographer or graphic designer to produce a book that is a credit to you and that will thrill your friends and family.
The only thing I would say, is that you need to proof it really well and make sure that all the cover and spine text is as you want it to be. I have two small changes with my book (one typo – ARRRRGGHH!!! and one spine change) and will then have several more copies made.
So if you haven’t BLURBed before, I highly recommend you give it a go.
