Bookmaking is WAY too slow

I created a book using the previous version of the software and it was great! I loved the process, the book turned out wonderful. BUT! I downloaded the newest version for my blog book (140 pages) and the software is way too slow. I mean it takes 20 seconds in between actions to figure out what I am doing. There is no way that I can work this way and will be trying another book publishing service because I can’t handle the slowness of the new application. Blurb…this is a very serious problem. You’ve lost an otherwise happy customer because of your new buggy software.
