Blurb Not Starting

Hello, I just installed the latest version of Blurb on a second PC and this copy will not go past the Blurb startup screen. It just hangs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled any ideas? Running XP SP2 and Booksmart 1.9.5. Thanks, -John

Order Support Email Broken + Book did not print as ordered

Hi, I will try to make this short, as this isn’t where I want to discuss my issues with booksmart, but the order support page is sending emails to an old blurb.com address so there is no way for me to say this directly!! What is going on with the new version? My books all printed fine under the last version. Now my recent order has two issues, one my custom logo did not print, and it does show fine booksmart, AND in the PDF preview of the book in question on your site. Secondly this was a guest signing book, with one page per spread dedicated for guests to sign (with dotted lines – a template from your software). Again it looks fine in booksmart and looks fine in the PDF preview but it DID NOT print in the final book. Please I would like to talk about this one-on-one with someone to work out a solution. I’m very frustrated at this point, before which I was a very happy blurber. Thanks, -John

Horrible quality

Stan, I can’t speak for the other sizes but I just got my 13×11 hardcover last week (also 150 pages) and everything looks great if you are used to the magazine resolution images (which is fine for me). I had read in the forums somewhere that the same printer does not always handle the outsourcing – I’m wondering if size might factor into this. Anyways, it worked for me.
