I got my book published a couple of weeks back – then the next day got the offer for money off!

But never mind – it’s a book with a lot of contributors, so after my copy arrived today (super speedy post!!!) I made it public.

I’ve had at least 5 complaints about the vouncher code in the last few hours. (And I expect to have more) No one understood it was for a book they had authored. I went back and checked the email and I couldn’t see anything either.

So I went back and looked again. And then I spotted it in the small print, although I missed this earlier and I was looking for it!

Please could you make it clearer in future if a voucher code is for any book or just for books you have made yourself. This was very disappointing for a lot of people – and kinda annoying when I’ve been promoting Blurb to them.

We used the contributors features for the book this year – which whilst MUCH easier for me as an author (Thank goodness for contributor names in the tooltip for photos) was not always understandable for many of those being asked to contribute. (Don’t ask). As last year’s book was such a success there’s been a big build up for this one.

Once again the book has turned out great and I’m very happy with it. It’s just a shame about the vouchers.

I have a lot of contributors for my book – but some have uploaded the incorrect photos. Can I delete them? (I can’t seem to find how). Or could someone let me know how they can delete their own photo and upload a replacement?
