Do you think we will make it? Will Blurb put rush on the overload of uploaded books they will have once the update is out? I think they ought to give us a discount on hsipping and put a rush on it. As it is, Im afraid we may not see it in time.

Well, I know it must be software then as I had no issues loading slow or anything with the Vista. I just hope if I keep file it will open in new release, Im afraid to start over! I thank you both for your help. I wish I could use an Apple, I tried and it was so darn confusing after using windows so long, people tell me I would be better off with teh video and pictures I work with…Im not sure I want to learn all the ins and outs of a new system. Vista does stink by the way, Ive worked through most kinks, yet a few left …some of the posts mention the older version of blurb may work, I think I have it on my old PC, maybe I oughta try loading my book file in it. I made the mistake of doinga full computer back up to a storage sync device. I no longer have the baclkup file on my pc to run the restore from the device. However, under book smart data, I show a .book file and a back up file with my books name, when I opene booksmart it doesnt show my book anymore, when I try to import these files, it shows up black..no book. The backup file shows the date and time I last worked on the book. I am hoping this means my book is still in a file, the question is how to open the back up file or the book file, a message appears stating that it is not an exported .book file from book smart. I am running Vista Business on a Vaio laptop. I did not have problem using or opening these in the past, since the back up I did, does not remove files, and evem removing the devices back up file that it leaves on the c drive, it should not have caused the book to not open. All ,my other documents are still in tact with other programs. How do I open it? Tracy
