more than one instance of booksmart?
BookSmart

Hi.

I would like to have booksmart opened twice in my computer, so I can have two books opened simultaneously. If I try to open another booksmart instance, it doesn’t, and jumps to my already opened booksmart.

Do you know if there is any way to have more than one booksmart instance opened in your computer?

(I’m running Windows XP)

Thanks

Alberto

how to insert photo with its absolute original size?
BookSmart

Thank you again, Lee.

I’ve already made my work creating a canvas with the size of each container for each photo.

Thank you, Lee.

I think what I will do will be to have an extra work preparing the images with a white canvas with the same size of the image containers – what will make me loose lots of freedom in trying the imeges indifferent templates. ...

 thanks, again

No, those buttons ("align top and left" or "align bottom and right") do the fit effect, moving the zoom slide switch according to the "fitting factor".

The only way to simulate the image original size is to "play" with the zoom slide switch or preparing a canvas externally  with the size of the photo container, which I would like to avoid, as it will make me a loss of creativity if I want to preserve the original image size, due to the different sizes of templates.

Erm..

no Lee, the image have – in the Image/Size window in PhotoShop – the following size data:

Pixel Dimensions:  width 745 px ; height 1148 px

Document size: width 2,483" ; height 3,827" ; Resolution 300 pixels/inch

what could be wrong?

Lee,

With that button, the image simply doesn’t crop, but it enlarges to the container size: my image have 2,483×3,827 inches with a 300dpi resolution, which will be smaller than the container, which have 5,3×7,1 inches size. The result, with that button, is that my image will be 7,1 size tall, which is not what I want.

 Thank you, anyway

how to insert photo with its absolute original size?
BookSmart

Hello :)

I have been  searching for a wy to keep my photos in BookSmart with their original absolute size: the photo that I have was scanned and prepared keeping its original dimention – i.e. 3.45×5.22 inches. Now, while I insert it in BookSmart templates, the photo changes size to the photo containers that I have available. Is there a way to keep the photo original print size, so the photo will be printed in 3.45×5.22 inches?

Thank you

Alberto
