Great Customer Service!
Book Printing
I ordered and received two books on blurb. When they arrived the pages had lines and streaks in them…I had read some of the horror stories about the customer service with blurb so I was prepared for the worse…Well…I have to say it was effortless in getting the problem taken care of. I just had to go on line here …and let you know that I am very pleased with how everything was taken care of. I photographed the pages …attached them to a file and uploaded it to blurb for them to see the problem…the next day I got an email saying that they had emailed a UPS Pickup for them and they were having them printed and sent at no charge…I haven’t recieved those two books yet as I just sent them out yesterday…but I did receive two others that I had printed and they were flawless. Maybe it is how people approach customer service that could cause some trouble. Printers screw up, I know because I work in a graphic design department, and we have techs come almost every day for one thing or another….. be it streaks or color, so I understand the problems. But If you know that the problem will be taken care of and with friendly customer service people then we should be able to be inconvenienced once in a while. Mistakes are made and no one is perfect…even the ones that take the pictures and create the books make mistakes…so give them a break and be thankful for a company that can give you as many options as blurb does. There is no one else out there that isn’t making a killing on little 100 page books. Blurbs prices are great . Thanks Michael my support guy…you are appreciated…..Michael Carlucci

Realistic Pricing of Books
Tips and Tricks
I am curious about the people who have been selling their books on blurb. What is a realistic price to put on them…I have two 400 page books with close to 900 photos in each one. If I double the price they would sell for $150.00 a piece…I want to sell books on blurb but I am sure there are those on here that have found how high they can go without stopping sales.

Printing dark
BookSmart
I just received my book….and I am very pleased with it….I have read the others on the forums but it is basicly alot of complaining than trying to deal with problems that isn’t for the most part blubs fault anyway. I can understand if it is a binding issue but not a printing issue…you print the file you get…bad file =bad print…..I am in the business of wide format printing and don’t get me started with all those that want colors to match there monitors at home or their printers at home…I admit I made a huge mistake by not reading the directions to start a 400 page book…I got it today and I love it…I would like to go back and change the photos I used to sRGB as all of mine were sent in Adobe98…..and was going to go up on the saturation on some of the photos…my problem is the amount of photos I have in this book….I could run an action to change all the profiles to sRGB and import the new files in my book ….If I do that …do I have to place the photos back in their spaces or will blurb pic them up and use them if the old files are missing…I won’t change the file names….mic
