Will the epub versions be availabe through the iBook store on apple?
General Interest

I would like to know this as well. I did check a box for aproval to be used in itunes, when I ordered the ebook version on 5/09/12. I have not seen it on itunes yet. I assume they need to review the entries. I would be curious of the timeframe for this service.

Thanks,

 James

ISBN Question
Tips and Tricks

How about a simple label? Not sure if it would look profesional enough, but might be an easy way out. I have considered it, but have not tried.

Thanks. I was debating about going with an image wrap. I’ll give it a try. By the way, your portfolio looks great!

Blurb rocks!
Book Printing

I have now made 4 b/w photo books with blurb. I have been pleased with each one. The tonalities have been spot on. My last book was about darkness. Subtle shadows, dark pages with dark text. Everything matched what I saw on screen and in my proofs. I have also seen great consistency between hardcover printed on the West Coast and soft cover printed in MA. After all of the negative feedback that I have seen I was a bit worried, but now blurb has proven to me there superior quality at a price that is reasonable. Blurb does rock!

Can I make my 12 X 12 into another smaller book?
Book Design and Imaging

I have been thinking about this as well. I was going to try to learn indesign more and create the book as a pdf.  There will be more work up front, but 12×12 to 7×7 would be a simple downsizing.

Book Contest Voting
General Interest

I completley agree. You took the words from my finger tips. I purposefully did not vote for any on the leader board and randomly jump around and viewed the ones that caught my attention. Some of the books did not seem to fit the catagories as well. There needs to be a better system.

Exceeded Expectations
Book Printing

I was worried about my first book after reading all of the quality control posts. I have to say that the book exceeded my expectations. My black and white images were a perfect match to my monitor. I am very happy.
