I've just received my first Blurb book created using the B3 profile, and I have to say I'm delighted. It's also my first book with premium paper, which I'm also very pleased with.

I shoot semi-professionally, and I'm not easy to please, but both the colour and mono shots came out to almost identically to what is presented on my screen. It's the first book from any manufacturer that I've ever been happy with.

On the technical side, I calibrate my monitor using Spyder2 Express, and I left the simulate paper color box unchecked. I had the book jacket option, and I didn't make any changes to the cover images as I find these are reproduced faithfully 'as is'. I'd be interested to know if any one has any experience of whether the 'image wrap' cover images need colour profiling or not.

I've just ordered my my second B3 book and I'm hoping for the same results.

www.geraldgreenwood.co.uk/blog
