How to revise a book without doing "new" book?
Book Design and Imaging

It is my belief that Blub uses a date/time stamp mechanism (based on the upload date/time) to identify books. So it cannot distinguish the original from the revision; making you print the new version or have it deleted.

To me that is a problem, not with the requirement to print the new version but because and comments and purchase history are then LOST.

They offer a great product but it is a real shame that they cannot seem to get it that this is a problem for us and fix it.

Come on BLURB, get on the ball here.

is it possible to get image wrap AND a dust cover?
BookSmart

I would very much like this feature or the ability to purchase dust covers separately. Come Blurb!!!

BookSmart

Upgrade to Booksmart 2.5 which finally has justified text support… we have been asking for it for some time.

Blank pages
Book Design and Imaging

I just printed my first "test" book. I am trying to understand why there are 3 fly-leaf pages in the front of my book instead of 1. My book is 40 pages long (20 double sided physical pages of course) Hardcover. It appears a bit awkward.

To that effect, is there a revision mechanism for uploads ? or if I make some minor cosmetic revisions, do I have to delete the original before uploading the revised version??

Justifying Text
Tips and Tricks

I just filed a suggestion on this same need. That is the only feature that is preventing my book from looking like any other professionally published book.

Text handling in BookSmart
BookSmart

I just printed my first book and am very pleased with the results except for the look of the text which I was not able to justify either. The whole look of the book would have been cleaner and more professional if I would have been able to justify text.

As for spell checking, I was concerned about it not being obvious when I first began to use the application, but then I found the spelling checker once I went into preview mode.

In general, I rate the booksmart app with an A, but with more text handling functionality would be an A++.
