Unremovable bar code sticker glue - Why did you change to this method?
General Interest

Although I am always happy with the quality of my blurb books I must say how disappointed I was with my latest 2 book order.  Instead of having the barcode printed on the back of the book, you plastered on large barcode stickers to the back.  There is no way to remove the sticker without leaving all the glue remaining.  I’ve tried to rub off the glue (soft cover book) but the glue just smears all over the back which completely ruins the books as far as I am concerned.  Now I have two books that will stick to anything including each other.

Need Help - getting a book from my account transferred to friend's account
Web Features

I have published a book for myself.  I am working on one for a friend & started it in my account.  When I publish it I want it in her account so she gets profits.  At first I thought I could back up her book onto a CD, then open an account for her & import her book.

I have opened a blurb account for her but she does not have a read-write CD rom drive on her computer so I guess this won’t work??   Any suggestions?  Am I just missing something here?

Thanks,  Sandy

Perfectly Happy!
Ordering and Shipping

I ordered my first blurb book a 8×10 portrait style.  I was so pleased with the way it turned out.  I love some of the backgrounds available & the fact that the colors can be customized.  I next made a 7×7 private book & was just as pleased.  My only negative comment is the shipping costs.

Font Licensing??
Book Design and Imaging

Someone who wrote a book through a regular publisher said she had to purchase the rights to use the font in her book.    Can anyone tell me how this works with Blurb books.  Now that I’ve got a book all ready to publish I’m wondering if I’m going to be in trouble with the fonts I use??

Questions about designing a book for a friend???
Tips and Tricks

I have just designed & ordered my first book so I’m anxiously waiting.

I started designing a book for a friend with her art photos as a present.  She is not computer or camera savy.  She is very excited about this.  If she wants to publish this book I’d want it in her name & her to sign the blurb contract.

Is this possible & wanted to know if this was the best way to do it.  I’ve saved the book on my hard drive as well as in blurb.  Have her open her own blurb account, read all the fine print etc.  Then import the book I made for her into her blurb account?  I’d want her to receive all profits also.

Does anyone here build books for others?  Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what the minimum book order is?
General Interest

Hi.  I am in the processs of building my book & just noticed the mention of a "minimum order".  I had thought I could print just one book for myself initially.  Does anyone know what the minimum is as I can’t find it anywhere.  Also, why don’t they list their shipping prices?  Any clue on that either for one book from Calif to Calif.  Thanks.
