I just received my book and I’m rather satisfied with how it turned out.

I read about the black and white printing problem somewhere on the forum however, the BW photos in my book turned out to be fine and there was no tint of purple or green. 

I converted the coloured photos to black and white using the channel mixer in photoshop.

Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Channel Mixer. Adjust the red, green and blue slider keeping the total value to be 100 with monochrome checked. Then duplicate thenew channel mixer adjustment layer, change that layer mode to overlay and drag the opacity down to your liking (usually 25).

However, the binding of the book seemed to be alittle flimsy and the pages looked as though they could come off any moment. But on the hold, the print quality was satisfactory.

I tried to upload my first book but after clicking on the ‘sign in’ button, I received a message stating that an internet connection could not be established.

Both of my firewall (windows and norton) are off and I’ve added the booksmart app as ‘trusted’ and blurb.com as a trusted site. 

I’ve renamed my book to ‘HKM’ and have deleted unused images.

I’m currently connected directly to the net and have no problems accessing the web.

The file size when I export my book is only around 50mb so I don’t think that’s the problem. 

Is there any solution to this issue?

Or is there anyway I can send the exported book file to blurb or would somebody help me upload it?
