Do I have to buy book before clients?

I am a wedding photographer and was excited to start using BLURB to create and sell books to my photography clients. Potentially, I could be making both BLURB and myself a good deal of profit from selling books to couples. However, I just found out that I have to order every book I design before I can make it public. Does this seem reasonable? Can I even share the book to see if the clients want to review it and like it? If I have to pay $30/book myself, then there is no point in me making $20/book off of selling them to my clients. This seems to be a ridiculous rule. Is there any way around it? If not, what other service should I use?
