How can I copy/paste pages between books?
Tips and Tricks

I have a couple of pages in a book that I want to copy to another book. I don’t want all the pages just 4 (but they have 9 pix and 9 captions each – so it would be nice if I could just copy them, rather than having to re-create each one.)

So I have copied the pages from book A to the clipboard, But when I close book A and open book B, it seems to flush the clipboard … and there is nothing left to paste.

Is there a trick to copying pages from one book to another?

annoying problemes with copy and paste
Tips and Tricks

I sometime copy from MS Word to Notepad and from there to BookSmart – it takes out the MS Word formating but it leaves the text. So when I paste it to BookSmart it uses / applies the BookSmart styles.

Have you tried this?

Release 1.9 - Printing Proof to PDF
BookSmart

Since the upgrade to release 1.9 I have not been able to print a proof to PDF.
(1) Printing takes forever – not sure if it ever finished gracefully. Think most of the times I’ve tried, when the print was ‘finished’ BookSmart had crashed.
(2) It only prints 3 pages out of just under 50.
Any advice?

Book Revisions
Tips and Tricks

I have created 2 books now. I ordered the first print version of each, and found a few typos in one and a wrong date in the other. How do I create a revision for an existing book after fixing the mistakes, so that I don’t have to buy another ‘first print’ again before I can make the book publicly available?
