Adding colorspace to JPEGs
I’m creating a book via InDesign, then exporting the pages as JPEG images. The original TIFF images are AdobeRGB profile colorspace. Blurb’s Indigo printer usually prefers sRGB, if I remember correctly.
I’ve discovered the JPEG images I exported are untagged. Can the Indigo Press deal with this properly (especially since they are B&W images), or do I need to open the images in Photoshop and assign them sRGB profiles? That’s about 160+ images.
Tips and Tricks
All computers of the past 7 or 8 years are 32-bit capable. The only way you could have a computer that is not is if you have a truly ancient one still operating DOS, Windows 3.1, or Windows 95/98. What kind of computer do you have and how old is it? You seriously need a computer upgrade if you are trying to work with one that old. Even a "first generation" WinXP computer would be hobbled by the Blurb software which is clunky and slow.
