I just received the book and it looks great!
The on-screen pixelation issue is apparently just a Booksmart screen rendering issue….NOT a
repro issue!

I get exactly the same thing…..in Booksmart, a jpeg image saved at 300dpi at 13×11 inches ( at jpg quality 10 ) for a 13×11 book looks very pixelated in the edit and preview window . The image looks fine in Photoshop CS2 or CS3 on my Mac. Not all images look this way….but some do. I think this is a software issue with Booksmart. We’ll see how they print, I guess.
The proof is in the pudding….so to speak.
